files Original titles, is it possible ?

#1 Post by Kinanatlas »

first of all A big thanks for the developer and this software! it saved my carrier..

would like to know if it is possible to restore files, with their original titles "instead of numerous rename"

or if it possible to filter which files i want exactly to restore with PhotoRec ? for example i want to restore only the "MP3 Files"
is it possible to do that ?

Lot of thanks for cgSecurity :)

In FileOpts, you can choose Disable Everything and only enable mp3.
You can rename your mp3 using exiftools as described in https://www.cgsecurity.org/testdisk.pdf chapter "After using PhotoRec".
