Difficulty recovering files on broken phone
I have a old and broken sony experia z2 that i have been trying to recover data from for a while. been trying to use photorec but my phone is not recognised as a storage device when selecting what media device to recover from. my pc recognises that my phone is connected via USB but does not show up as a storage device on my file explorer. I realised i may not have USB debugging active on the phone and that may be the problem, however neither the screen or the touch are working. Is there anything i can do without having to pay to get anything fixed? can i activate USB debugging on my phone via my PC? or is that not even the problem? would really appreciate a response lol im desperate to recover anything i can from it.
