Hello,
I am using the lates WIP 7.2 photo rec. I am very happy with the product. But I am having problem that cause my photo recovery take forever to run. I looked into the log and found the reason stuck at 40 to 50% because photorec repeatedly scan the same partition with unknown marker.
Every time finish recover a new photo, it went back and search the unknown marker, then it repeats and repeats.
I wonder if I can skip the unknown marker and how in qphotorec or photorec, so that it can move on the ones that can be recovered.

If it takes too much time, a workaround is to manually edit (after a backup) the photorec.ses file and remove the sector range where the bad file is present.
Once it's done, restart PhotoRec and resume the recovery.

Thanks, one last question. If I must scan the whole disk, can I still select the where I left off if I stop it now. Because most of the example in the forum is scanning a specific partition. In my case, my partition is destroyed by windows boot disk.
