Hallo zusammen,

Hello Jake,
I don't have a solution for it but I translate your precise error description into the English language:
I have problems to restore a previously saved partition table. If I analyse the disk, the quick search function finds a partition that does not correspond to the existing partition on disk in terms of position and size. After running the quick search I am able to load the previously saved partition table. This table does not replace the previously found "wrong" partition. Instead the loaded table from the backup is extended by the result of the quick search function.
The result is an invalid structure that I am unable to write somewhere.
I would like to either read the saved partition table without a previous quick search and write it onto the disk or remove the invalid line from the list of partitions which got there by means of the quick search.
I'd be happy about any hint.
Thanks and many greetings
Jake
