Invalid Boot sector, Trying to recover sudden raw externalHD

#1 Post by aprice »

I'm following James Litten's Instructions on How To Fix: External Disk Drive Suddenly Became RAW
http://html5.litten.com/how-to-fix-exte ... ecame-raw/
I followed the instructions and
I have run into some problems

My boot sectors are not identical :

When I run quicksearch no partition appears.

Will rebuilding the boot sector fix this without deleting data?
If not how should I go about solving this?

Please help!

Thanks,
Andrew
