WD mybook encryption...

#1 Post by additional »

Hello! I've been reading here that some WD mybooks are encrypted, and the drive needs to be in the case to diagnose. Which of course I no longer have. I do have another identical mybook which still has a case, but I imagine each case has a different key. Impossible to recover the data now? Thanks!
