Invalid Fat boot sector 0 D FAT32 LBA

#1 Post by tovin »

I have a Western digital external hard drive 2TB, the usb port in it broke off, so I put the hard drive into a new enclosure. When I try to plug it into my laptop usb, it doesn''t recognize it. The drive shows up i disk manager, but is unallocated. The drive doesn't show up in windows explorer. I need to get the data off without formatting it or doing anything else that will erase the data. I also ran testdisk from linux, which is showing up that it doesnt have a bootable drive. The code shows invalid fat boot sector fat32 lba. here's the image

This is my second time running the disk analyzer -- it shows 33% in image, just ran it again to get the code, forgot to write it down the first time. How can I get the hard drive to boot up to transfer my data off and onto a another external hard drive.
