Help with recovering from CF card

#1 Post by klick1 »

Hello,
I'm using v6.13 for mac. I am trying to recover .cr2 canon raw files. It seems to be recovering the files because I can see the thumbnails in the destination folder but it would disappear within a few seconds and what is left in the recup_dir folder are files with .apple, .gz. I've attached a screenshot so you can see what I mean. Please advice. Thank you.

Please use TestDisk 6.14!
It's already known, that files could disappear.

Hello,

From reading previous topics, I downloaded v6.14 and that seemed to work. At least for what I was trying to recover (Canon raw .cr2). Thumbnails did not disappear as it did in V6.13. For anyone experiencing the same problem, I suggest to go straight to V6.14. Thank you PhotoRec!
