Android file recovery

#1 Post by buddha12708 »

I have a Lenovo tablet running android. I am trying to recover deleted files on it with no luck. I can connect it to my desktop with a USB cable, and the PC will see it.
The problem is that when I connect it to my PC and try to run PhotoRec, the Lenovo isn't recognized by PhotoRec.
The PC will recognize jump drives, an old IPod, external HD's, and everything else that I have tried. To be clear, I haven't tried an android phone yet.
PhotoRec recognizes the drives, but I haven't tried an IPod or an android phone yet
I looked for another driver for the Lenovo, but the factory doesn't list one. No other research that I have done has been helpful.
How do I make PhotoRec see the Lenovo so I can recover files from it?

When you deleted something in your phone, first remember not to use your phone again, including text, calling, and try to recover the data you want first with Android Data Recovery. After that, you may use you phone. Have a look here for Android phone recovery:
