Formatted Partition - Would like to recover.

#1 Post by xRDK »

Hi all,

I have 2 partitions on my Laptops HDD. A C:\ and a D:\.

I recently used test disk to recover files off a corrupt HDD and stored them on my D:\ drive.

I then plugged in another working external HDD and formatted it and then was going to copy the files from the D: drive to the external HDD (G:). Unfortunately I formatted my D: drive instead of my G: drive.

I have followed the instructions regarding getting the files back, but when I select 'Rebuild BS' then 'List' there are no files there.

Any ideas?
