Recovered RAF file sizes wrong / corrupted

#1 Post by electricgray »

First, thank you for this awesome tool. I am in the process of saving a lot of photographs.

I've been shooting on a Fuji XE-1, and the vast majority of my recovered RAF files are one of two file sizes: Either 25,165,824 bytes (cannot open these files) or 26,146,816 bytes (these ones are perfect).

For the other ones I am unable to open, I imagine it they are simply fragmented and lost ( 1 mg, 8 mg, 15 mg files, etc.) but I am wondering if there is something in the algorithm that could be improved since it is consistently finding files of 25,165,824 bytes (hundreds of the files recovered are this size) that cannot be opened.

Let me know if I can give you any additional information or send example files.

Regards,
Josh
