Partition can't be recovered

#1 Post by sgiraldoa »

Hi, I'm trying to recover a partition, I've deleted the partition but I didn't formatted, so the data is still there. Testdisk found it but it says it can't be recovered perhaps it founds the right name of the partition [Secundario].

Runnning photorec didn't found this partition [Secundario], what can I do?

This is the log from Testdisk:

Let's try something. Run TestDisk, select the disk, PC/Intel, Geometry, set 142475 cylinders, Analyse, Quick Search, try to list the files from your "Secundario" partition. If it works, set the following partition as *(bootable)
HPFS - NTFS 13 163 20 13274 50 18 200499200
the other two should be P(rimary).
choose Write, confirm, Quit and restart
If you can access the files from "Secundario", backup them, delete this partition, recreate it and restore your files.
