Use photorec with ssh on synology DSM 4.3-3827 help

#1 Post by maximillium »

Hi!

Could anyone tell me how to start photorec on a DS212j DSM 4.3-3827 (Raid 1 SHR ext4)?
I have got some info from the support to connect with putty over ssh but have not be able to start the application.
They sent me only the photorec file that is custom for Symantec but I have not got much more info than to open the program with ./photorec but is not working.
Perhaps anyone could give me some pointers ? Trying to recover accidently deleted photos :(
