I'm trying to recover a deleted .odf file with Photorec. It involved rm -rf ing an old hard drive, but I forgot to move my project over. AFAIK, it has not been written to yet. However, Photorec seems to loop between sectors 480Mil~~520mil, and previously 100-170. What's going on?
Also, is it safe to restart with different parameters?
Photorec scans the same sector(s) repeatadly.
