Accidentally changed HFS+ to Ext4

#1 Post by neuropulse »

Greetings,

I accidentally changed or formatted a partition type from Mac HSF+ to Linux GUID. It is unreadable on my Mac now. If I run "EasyUS Data Recovery Wizard" it quickly show my directory of files correctly under "Disk(HSF+)". In TestDisk, it says the partition is "MS Data". No disk repair programs can repair it. Many can't see it. It is 3TB of files.

Can TestDisk fix the partition? Where is EasyUS getting the directory?

Thanks
