Re: MicroSD lost partition

#2 Post by Fiona »

First of all, I'd like to check your current partition table (current partition structure).
Can you select your microSD card as disk instead of a drive?
Would probably in your disk selection here:
Disk /dev/sdb - 63 GB / 59 GiB - CHS 7764 255 63, sector size=512
You'll find your current partition structure at TestDisk / Analyse.
Unfortunately testdisk doesn't support exfat boot sector recovery.
But if your partition would be available in your partition table, you can run testdisk / Advanced / Boot and have a try to list your files using the menu List.
If your partition is not in your partition table, you can run Quick and Deeper Search to have a try to find it by the boot sector or its backup.
If your exfat partition would be found, you can select it and press p to have a try to list your files.
Otherwise you can try to run PhotoRec to recover your files.

Re: MicroSD lost partition

#4 Post by Fiona »

Exfat is a bit different.
It's an NTFS partition but the boot sector and the file system is exfat.
That's why a NTFS partition is displayed and the boot sector is exfat.
Example:
testdiskexfat.png
testdiskexfat.png (74.78 KiB) Viewed 2439 times
The partition is displayed as NTFS but in the last line at the bottom of the display you'll see info about the boot sector.
It's exfat!
I've checked your log file.
The problem is, the boot sector and its backup are either not valid or not available.
That's why I'd recommend to use PhotoRec:

Re: MicroSD lost partition

#5 Post by x46x »

Thank you, but PhotoRec restore my backup's of programs with a different name so my backup program (titanium backup) can't restore them ( beause there is two files fo each apps and it must have a same name for restore). So is there any other chance for restore partition?
