testdisk (Linux) with NTFS image

#1 Post by neuron »

Dear Sir,

Great Softwareeeeeeeeeeeeeee ... Thank you :D

I have a disk 320 GB ( NTFS ) ... bad ... -> ddrescue-1.20 and have an image.

Run testdisk-7.0.linux26-x86_64 in Ubuntu and access the image.

Advance - > Undelete ... and one inode :o ... and the data is from my EXT4 disks.
Strange.

Run the same procedure in VirtualBox -> W$ndows and the same thing

The scan and deep scan is ok ... find folders and files. :mrgreen:
4 files...

But ... no delete files ... :(

Best Regards,
Neuron

Thank you for your answer ...

But with other software I can see the files and folders ...

You need more research to see what is the problem?

And fix in next release.
