Fujifilm X-E1 .raf raw files

#1 Post by chris2 »

Hello,

Thanks for developing this software, I have been using it to recover images from an SD card. I have successfully recovered the JPEGs, but have issues recovering the .raf raw files.

This problem seems to have occurred before (raf-files-t2914.html). The raw files are suppposedly recovered, but they are all an incorrect size (872 kb vs. 25534 kb) and of course don't work. The photos are taken with a Fujifilm X-E1 camera.

I have uploaded a working raw file to http://dropcanvas.com/dx3td if that is of any assistance.

Thanks again, I would love to be able to get those raw files back! :D

I have tried it again it using 7.1-WIP (I was using 7.0 last time) and I have the same problem.

I notice that the Photorec version seems to be 6.14 for both though -- am I launching Photorec correctly?

Thanks,

Chris

You are probably lauching the version comming with your OS.
If you are using linux, once you are in the correct directory, run ./photorec_static

Ah my apologies, I was launching the version installed by the OS as you guessed.

With 7.1-WIP it works perfectly. Thanks!
