Hello,, I am new to the entire process. I have a Seagate Freeagent Go 640gb external drive that Windows recognizes, and File explorer will let me access certain directories. Others, the drive times out and I have to unplug/plug back in.
On running the TestDisk, I noted the error:
Warning: Bad ending cylinder (CHS and LBA on't match)
What is the meaning of this and what can be done to fix?
see attached jpg screen shot.
thank you!!

Re: Test Disk reports error
The disk is listed as 4GB, not 640GB. The listed partition is also only 4GB.
Are you sure it's the correct disk ?
