Test Disk - Please wait - Is it Working?
I am using a mac. I ran test disk. It locates my internal hard drive. I switch to sudo login to locate my external hard drives. I put in my admin password and the terminal screen just sits there saying Please wait. nothing is returned for a long time... still waiting. not sure if its working and taking a long time to find the disks or what. Please help

Re: Test Disk - Please wait - Is it Working?
There may be a physical problem with one of your external disk. Mac OS X seems to not handle this problem correctly (no timeout).
Can you disconnect all your external disks and try again ? Next, add one disk at the time and try again.
