When i run testdisk and choose the one disk to recover partitions from and while its doing a deep search, i notice that my other 4 or 5 ntfs drives in my pc cannot mount or unmount while testdisk is busy. Everytime I try to mount or unmount any of them, it throws an error about fuse "device, or resource busy". This happens even if i stop testdisk. Until i restart my pc then my drives are fine again.
Why is it locking up all the drives from mounting or unmounting? or is this a bug??
I am using Ubuntu 14.04.
Please help!!

Re: Testdisk Locks up all drives
It's a bad idea to mount or umount volume while using testdisk.
If you have a problem to mount or umount volume after using testdisk, the problem is not with testdisk because it doesn't run anymore.

Yes i know its a bad idea, but i was not unmounting the volume of the disk being scanned, i was trying to mount a volume of other disks in my system which had nothing to do with the scan. Do you know what i mean?
