Raid recovery

#1 Post by andrewcrc »

Maybe a silly question...
I had a server crash and burn. I'm trying to pull all the data I can off it on another one but I'm afraid to bring the drives online on another server in disk management. Would this work for saving some/any data? Any thoughts would be wonderful.

Moving the disks looks like the only option. Keep the same order for the disks.

Awesome. Looks like I can get the server up and running again. Any thoughts on putting all the drives back in (same order), rebuilding the raid and running testdisk?

Thanks again!
