Hello,
I recently had my SD card on my Zoom recording device formatted. Unfortunately a lot of my sound files had not been backed up yet. I used photorec to recovery the .wav sound files. But when I play the file I get about 1 second of audio followed by a quieter repeat followed by the next second of audio and then a quieter repeat and then so on and so forth. I believe this is because there is a left channel and right channel for the sound and photorec is mixing the 2 together instead of layering them or creating two separate files.
Is there a way to recover 2 channel .wav files?
Thank you very much in advance for any help anyone might be able to give me.
Hunter

Get the smallest memory card you have, do a full format, record a wav.
Run Testdisk, Advanced, Image Creation. Compress the image.dd file and share it via Google Drive or equivalent.
I will check what it is possible to do.

Cgrenier,
Thank you for your quick reply! Here is the link to the SD card image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3jfuF ... sp=sharing
Let me know if I did that correctly or if there is something else you need.
I really appreciate your help and look forward to seeing what you come up with!
