Recovery Data from LUKS Disk

#1 Post by tsis2k »

Hello everyone
I have a HD with LUKS that has lost the format and I can not access the files, I have passed photorec and can reserch files but recurepa them in txt format. It would be possible to recover the entire LUKS partition, as you could optimize that data recovery.

Thank you very much, gentlemen

If you delete by mistake the LUKS partition, TestDisk can find the beginning of LUKS partition. When TestDisk lists it, press 'a' to manually add a Linux partition using the same beginning location and ending 1 sector before the next partition (or the end of the disk).
