No partition found for my SD Card

#1 Post by aaaashadow »

Dear Sir,

my sd card is seem to be damaged and need to format it. So that I am using testdisk to recover my sd card image but when i choose the partition table type is EFI GPT( testdisk detected this type), it return No partition found after Deeper Search. Is it wrong to use EFI GPT for my sd card?
Can you give me some advice for using testdisk?
Thanks a lot for your help.

PC Intel is probably the correct partition type.
Note that the fastest way to recover your data is probably to use PhotoRec, read https://www.cgsecurity.org/testdisk.pdf for explanations on how to use it.
Good luck

Thanks for help. I think that i havrle no way to use any recovery software because the sd card is encrypted by android M storage adoption. So that the testdisk cannot get any file or partition i think.
Anyway thanks a lot for Testdisk and Photorec, I learned how to use it now.
