change name extension ".txt" to ".gnd"

#1 Post by zagato »

Hello everyone.

The situation ... I had some text files (.txt) to which I changed the extension by: ".gnd". I mistakenly deleted the USB folder where I had those files.

When I need to locate specific ".txt" files, in a large database, I usually change the extension name to ".gnd".

Attached I send an example.
Example.rar
(1.01 KiB) Downloaded 234 times
Can you please tell me how to modify this information from photorec.

Thank you.

It seems there is no pattern to identify these files except maybe '++++++++++++'...

exactly ... it's a simple "txt" file, but with the extension name ".gnd".

I have the Notepad ++ software, modifying the code in the lines that made reference to "txt" files, I modified it for "gnd" ... but I still can not rescue the files

I appreciate any help.
