Conflict between partitions

#1 Post by dalgacik »

Hi, my external disk got corrupt, and I'm getting a "conflict between partitions" error. With TestDisk, I am able to recover the files by copying them to another drive. However, I do not have a available space, so it would be great if I could fix the partition problem, and bring the drive to a working condition back. Is there a way to do this with TestDisk? Below is a screenshot I get from TestDisk when I select "Analyse". Thanks in advance!

Please copy and paste the testdisk.log file where we can you copying some files. This way it should be possible to help you with the provided information.

Thanks so much in advance for your help!

I am running testdisk from a virtualbox, so I could not directly transfer the log file. Instead, I took a sequence of screenshots for the entire log file.

please click on the down arrow icon on the right top corner to download the zip file (Archive.zip) . It contains only pngs of the screenshots. I appreciate your patience.
