Windows 10 Storage Space

#1 Post by hooraysimpsons »

Hello,
Made a stupid mistake while adding a second storage pool to my server. Was testing different options and after a reboot went to delete the new pool to change it and accidentally deleted my old data filled storage space.

This is on a windows 10 machine. Mirror storage space with 6 drives, I believe column number was 3. I am hoping all the data will still be there but nothing being recognized now by the server. Using EaseUS it finds some files but seems to find a lot of extra stuff as well. Before paying and recovering each individual file, is there a way to use Testdisk to recover the whole storage space setup/partition?

Thanks

Try TestDisk, Advanced, select the second partition, force the type to MS DATA and NTFS, Boot, List.
Does it work ?

Thank you for your response. Should I do this for all of the drives at once?

Edit:
Changed type to MS DATA and hen NTFS. Hit boot and got below screenshot.
