Hi,
I accidentally reformatted a 4TB drive external, of which there is about 3TB of data. Currently running photoRec on it which will take approximately 182 hours -_-
The destination to recover to that I've chosen is another external drive, but it's only 2TB. What will happen when those 2TB are filled? Will it be possible to resume to another drive? And better yet, cus I don't have another drive at the moment, could I delete certain restored files to make room for new ones? There is about 500GB of data I really want to get.
Thank you.

Re: Destination recovery drive
It's possible to delete recovered files while the recovery is still running, do not delete the file photorec is currently writting.
When the destination is full, photorec will delete the file it was recovering, ask you for a new destination and resume the recovery.
