Hi,
i have unfortunately formatted my 2TB HDD drive during Windows 10 install. I used PhotoRec to recover data from this HDD, but they are sorted in folders called recup_dir_1 to 3672. Is there any way how to get these files to the original folder names?
Thanks

Re: Folder recovery
No, it's not possible, PhotoRec can't recover the original filename/directory structure.
https://www.cgsecurity.org/testdisk.pdf give some hints on how to rename/sort the recovered files.
