Recover veeam data

#1 Post by Gian »

I'm trying to recover veeam data from a formatted partition.
In the PhotoRec specifications, the .vbm type is indicated as supported, but when I try to find it in the list of file types it does not appear.
Only the vib type is present.
How do I enable searching for vbm files?
Would it also be possible to search for vrb and vbk files?
Thank you

vbm are recovered by default by PhotoRec, they are part of the "tx?" file family.
I have no vrb or vbk file samples, so I don't know if they have magic values/constants that can be used to identify and recover these types of files.
