My 1 TB device started malfunctioning and was showing up as uninitialized and 0 size. I opened the enclosing and used a new one. The disk showed up but asked to initialize again, foolish me chose MBR and then it showed up as Unallocated space.
I tried using TestDisk but it doesn't find any partitions, it says "No Partition Found" in both Quick and Deep mode; I have made an image of the disk. GetDataBack could see a partition that belongs to WD tools but not the main one.
Any advice on what to do next?

If TestDisk doesn't show your partition after ANalyse, Quick Search, try Deeper Search.
If it still doesn't find your lost partition, use PhotoRec instead.
