WD 4TB partition fix

#1 Post by pihihizo »

I've had this 4TB with me for a few years and had this go bad on me in early 2019. I decided to try to look into what was causing the errors in the hope to recover the drive with the data.
Ran an analyze on this drive with testdisk and took a few days to finish. Is this drive toast based on the bad partitions or how would I go about fixing them with the options in TD?
Thank you for any help.

Not necessarily.
Check out each partition with the list file function "p" to see if it contains the data you are looking for.

I don't know what TD is.
