Hello,
I have an enternal HDD (500 GB), but I can't read it anymore. It seems to have happened because I copied several files until it was full, and deleting old files to free space.
Normally I would have to format the disk, but I don't want to loose my files.
TestDisk lists all files, so they are not lost (PHEW!). What should I do next?
I have read somewhere to do a quick format on the disk, then trying to undelete the files. Is that the correct approach?
Thanks a lot.
Can't open external HDD
