Do found partitions have a time order?

#1 Post by joaquinbd16 »

I'm looking for a LVM partition on my disk, the disk has had two LVM partitions of the same size during his life, one is empty and the other one contain data. So doing the scan I found the two partitions. So the question:

Does testdisk list the partitions in some kind of time order?

Because you can't see the contain of LVM partitions with this tool.

If somebody can help me I'll be truly grateful.

An LVM Physical Volume (PV) header contains no timestamp.
TestDisk lists the partitions in partition location order.
