Hello all,
I seem to have a very strange issue on my hands and in order to save some sanity I wanted to ask for help here. I have a 256GB Sd Card that I accidentally wiped using cmd's DiskPart by using the "Clean" command. I used PhotoRec to recover the files, the photos came out great, and the videos threw me for a loop at first but thanks to the great documentation by Chris I was able to Concatenate some files together. However, the file structure of the recovered folder is not in any type of order. There will be a bunch of .movs followed by a bunch of .mp4s with the 1100+ recovered files between the two its impossible to guess which 2 files go together as there is no pattern. I've tried sorting by name, date, type, size, etc. I cannot get a pattern to appear to figure out which two files to cat together. I will post a few screenshots of the folder in question and maybe one of you can make sense of it...

The attachment tab is located on the bottom of the page just below the button labeled "submit" to the left on the page when you are posting a new reply or changing an existing one.
Use the key combination <CTRL> F to search for the word "attachments". Your browser will hightlight the button.

Unfortunately I can only refer you to this posting:

If Testdisk fails try Photorec or any other recovery tool.

Re: PhotoRec video files not sorting properly
This does not solve my issue. The thread is locked and the only reply that says "It worked" leads to some sketchy-looking website. Hopefully, Chris chimes in and can help out here. This is unbelievably frustrating.

I agree that the loss of data is frustrating. Unfortunately you did not thoroughly read the posting of Christopher Grenier who is quoting parts of the Testdisk manual to draw your own conclusions or to verify to which group of recovery cases you belong.
You should try some other recovery software products now to see how good they perform.
