Hello, I am attempting to recover files from a drive that was quick formatted twice.
Both TestDisk and PhotoRec do not identify any files or anything other then the current partition from the most recent of the formating attempts.
As it was only quick formatted, it should be possible to find the files. But I'm struggling to find the proper options or settings to accomplish this.
Nothing has been written to the drive that I'm trying to recover data from.
Advice on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
Details, it is a 256GB drive, the partitions of the quick format were NTFS, the current and previous parition before the quick format were all NTFS.

Re: Recover Files after 2 quick formats
You can loose all your data after a quick format. It's the case when discard/trim command is used by the OS (ie. for ssd)
As no data have been recovered by PhotoRec, it's probably the case.
