Disk of SD Card Doesn't Appear

#1 Post by ght2 »

Hello,

On my Mac, I turned on root user in Directory Utility but still when I open Photorec, there is no disk that appears that shows the proper size of my SD card, about 8 gigabytes. The SD card seems to be corrupted or something but it is inserted in the Mac and yet does not seem to come up on the opening page of photorec. What can I do to make it appear?

Thank you

I don't have a Mac.
There should be a place in your operating system where you should see the SD card as a device regardless of the way it is partitioned and formated. If it does not show up there, consult a professional recovery lab.

If you have access to a windows machine, check if the SD card appears in the device manager.
