problem with ext4

#1 Post by nabilsoft »

Hello,
i did very stupid thing... HELP, PLS
the situation is very similar to: http://forum.cgsecurity.org/phpBB3/how- ... -t591.html

file system: ext4
i had 1 disk in my Qnap 219 working as standalone disk with ext4 FS. I put in another disk "to be safer..." and than probably qnap had quick formated my disk and change "standalone" do raid1. After 4% progress I have stoped the process, turn off the qnap and get out the disks.

After I plug the disks to another computer with TestDisk I can't see my folders. What should I do ?. Im in trouble because till tomorow i have to recover those files...

To find your initial partition, try "none" table type, options > align : no, quicksearch / deepersearc, and give feedback.
If a partition is found, do not use write, but try to list using "P" key.
Please use testdisk 6.14, last beta.

What is your operating system ?

Did you already run deeper search?
If deeper search is finished, please check your found partitions pressing p to have a try to list your data.
