recovered jpg files doesn't open

#1 Post by lfjill »

I accidentally deleted two .jpg images in a phone
I putted the memory of the phone in a USB card reader
With testdisk the files are seen in red with name and right size, so I proceeded and the files were copied to a C: directory They have the right name and aparently the right size.
The files are unable to be oppened, saying the format is incorrect or the image is corrupted
How could I try to recover these two pictures?
I saw the forum during 3 hours and there are about 400 posts related to simmilar issues, but their tragedies are formidable worst than mine.
Maybe somebody knows the procedure to recover these two images easily.
Thank you
Luis

The content of your pictures may have been overwritten already. Try Photorec to see if that changes anything.
