Help removing files
Hello, I was trying to recover old photos from a USB drive because I was told I would be able to do it with photo rec app. However, it's not working out for me, as directions seem to be different than what I'm seeing. So unfortunately, I gave up but now I wasn't sure how to remove the files that I just installed which I believe I did it a few times on accident but when I search for apps, it doesn't show up. I did find one folder on my desktop. But I'm not sure if I just delete it or is there a better way to remove these applications so it doesn't leave a whole bunch of stuff on my PC. but nonetheless, I still have another file somewhere floating around. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Re: Help removing files
There is no PhotoRec App. The TestDisk package contains TestDisk and PhotoRec and they do not require installation on a Windows PC.

Re: Help removing files
Click File > Open. Locate the file that you want to delete. Right-click the file, and then click Remove from list.

Hello Everyone,
If PhotoRec doesn’t require installation, does it leave any temporary files or logs behind after usage? I just want to make sure I clean everything properly from my system.
Thanks.
Spoidy.
