Recovery ext4 partition after partitioning

#1 Post by rvsh »

Hello,

When installing linux mint (don't know how it really happend) I accidentially started to install system on my second data disk where I store all data.
Before it was one large partion just ext4. After the accident there are two partition EFI and EXT4(root) probably because linux mint wanted to install itself on the drive and probably started to format the drive but installation was taking long time and It was suspicious so I stopped it.
This disk was in RAID1 (2x12TB). I run testdisk on one of these disks and it found many partitions. Mine has label ALLDATA but If I click 'p' it says that the partition table is probably corrupted. How to procced? Please help, I think I just lost all my life data.
I tried to run software to find lost files and It is finding some photos etc, but the amount of data on the disk I so big that It would take months to categorize it and there is other stuff than jpgs (like project files etc.)
If someone can help recover the data I could reward.
Right now I booted from live cd and run testdisk on one of the drives.
What to do next?
