I did a scan in Disk Drill and without doing any recovery, the application returns about 30 video files and 600 JPGs in various levels of recoverability. Videos are all MOV files,
I search the same 32 GB SD car with Photorec (Windows) and it finds nothing in first pass. 2nd pass just commenced as I started writing this note, and returned an FTYP MOV file. Should I expect similar results as I got in Disk Drill? I selected just the MOV/Mpeg file types. Its the videos I am looking at getting.
There is a file structure on the SD card. Would the DOS route enable me to pinpoint the directory where files deleted?
Also, read a response referring to a manual. Is there a link for the manual?

I don't know what you want to do. You did not bother to specifiy what your problem is and what you want do using TestDisk or Photorec.enable me to pinpoint the directory where files deleted?
Your TestDisk download came with a PDF file included. Also, read a response referring to a manual. Is there a link for the manual?
Furthermore, when looking at the website cgsecurity.org there is a lot of documentation in various languages.
