Changing to another drive

#1 Post by johnnywyoming »

Ran the testdisk software but when I try to save it only gives me an option to save to the C drive. My C drive does not have enough space. Can I change it to another drive such as my F drive that has enough space?

Yes, you can choose another directory.
If you mark that two dots if you list files and press enter, you'll get on directory up until you come to your disk selection.
To enter a folder you can check a folder and use your right arrow key.
Standard path to copy files to, is your testdisk folder.
You can also execute testdisk from another disk.

TestDisk supports a lot of partition types and file systems.
If you'd like to copy data, your OS must support the destination/target file system.
