Bruteforce process stuck

#1 Post by lccolunga91 »

Hello. I have tried Photorec version 6.13 and 6.14, the 32 bits version on a Windows 7 64 bits laptop. I am trying to recover photos from a SD card image, also from the physical SD card, but I get the same problem. I am trying bruteforce mode to recover fragmented jpeg files, but by some reason the timer then gets stuck and the test number. Also the sectors, but even if the timer and the test number is running the sectors are not always updated. If I try the option stop it doesn't respond too. The program status seems normal but is not using any cycles of the CPU. It always happens randomly.

Can you send me the SD file image ? Contact me by email or pm, I will try to reproduce the problem.
