Help recovering linux raid partition

#1 Post by nightmare »

I have a disk that is from an iomega storecenter ix2-200 dual bay nas box which runs linux. The disk has been partitioned mbr and quick formatted ntfs, I would like to restore the linux partition data and recover data from thr EXT2 raid partition. Please see my screen shot below do I need to recover the two LVM partitions or the two RAID paritions?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Or even better, can recovery be done from raw disk image (all I have before the drive died)

Assuming you had LVM on top of Raid, set the 2 Linux Raid partitions as P(rimary). On next screen, choose Write, confirm, Quit
Put the disks back in the NAS and try to access your data.
