Truecrypt file lost

#1 Post by chronon »

Hello,

I had a 10 GB file in a 32 GB pen-drive formatted with NTFS.

This happened yesterday, I remove the pen-drive too soon, before windows said it was safe to remove it, now this 10 GB file is missing.

CHKDSK detected some errors and I was stupid enough to let it "correct" the problem it found. I have not written anything to the pen-drive and I enabled the write lock for removable media in Windows registry. The file is there I think, the major problem is probably that the file is a TrueCrypt file that I mount as removable media.

Any ideas?
