Data recovered; Write error for repar

#1 Post by Akkarin »

Because of an motherboard failure the HD wasn´t readable any more.
(Win 7 pro, NTFS, 500 GB HD,Language German, no specific security settings)
The hard has been connected to another computer using an USB >> SATA connection.
This computer has a similar setting to the failed one.
The use of TestDisk allowed perfectly to copy all files to another HD however no trial of the command WRITE was succesful. The error message gave always WRITE ERROR.
For further info there has been uploaded the log file.
Did I made something wrong here ?
Thank you.

In any case this tool was a big help, and the step-by-step doc even more!
