Attempting to run photorec on a windows ME machine. Keep getting cygwin1.dll file not found error. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Photorec cygwin1.dll file error
I'm running Win XP with Service Pack 3. Getting the same message... cygwin1.dll not found even though I'm looking at it in the list of files just a few items above PhotoRec.exe I realize this topic hasn't been posted to in months but if anyone's watching and has a fix, I'd like to actually (install?) Photorec and use it.)

Did you unzip TestDisk?
Don't move any file outside the folder or to another directory, just leave it like it is.
Please let me know, which version did you use?
PhotoRec doesn't need to be installed.
It's self executable.
Just navigate inside the TestDisk folder and run photorec_win.exe.
