I screw up my PS3 data with testdrive... Now what?

#1 Post by RSene »

Hello all.

I believe I made a stupid mistake with my PS3 HDD. I connected it to a SATA port into my computer to run testdrive on it, because i was trying to solve a problem I thought it had to do with the HDD.

Well, when I run testdrive on it, the program found a partition highlited by a green line, So I selected it to write on the HDD, and soon after I found out the HDD became available on Windows (before that, the HDD wasn't available).

So now I have an empty 320GB HDD recognized on Windows ready to be used.. That means my PS3 data is over? Any way to restore it?

PS. My PS3 is not working at the moment, so I can't test it with the console.
